I cannot say enough about the incredible experience I’ve had with Janet Wells and PUREABBY CATTERY.  I am one of the lucky ones who got a chance to get an Abyssinian kitten from Janet in January 2023.  My “Toffee” ruddy boy joined our family right after our 16 year-old aby passed away- and from the very moment he entered our home, it was clear that he was something truly special. He is one of the best kittens I’ve ever had the privilege of having. His intelligence and personality are simply remarkable. He has an uncanny ability to play fetch like a pro, respond to commands like sit/paw/up/ down.  He surprises us with his ability to follow all of these commands, making him such an incredible and responsive companion.  His temperament is very “chill”: he is comfortable studying with my kids and perching on my arm and shoulders like a parrot!
Which really sets Toffee apart, and probably as a product of Janet’s careful breeding, is his outgoing personality. He is not just a pet, but an integral part of our family. He’s always there by the door, eagerly greeting everyone as they return home. His warm and friendly demeanor really makes us feel loved. He’s a master ambassador and makes every visitor feel right at home when they enter the house. He runs right over and basically follows them around; all of our guests are just blown away by his “un-cat-like” personality. But hey,  it’s clear they’ve never had the fortune to have an aby in their life and certainly not Janet’s abys.
Lastly, I wanted to remark upon Janet’s integrity.  She really made the entire process of retrieving Toffee as seamless as possible. It was evident that she genuinely cared about her cats and wanted to make sure they went to a good home. I actually felt great that she spent time getting to know me and what kind of a cat mom I was.  Her orientation package and instructions were detailed and very useful.  I was reassured when she welcomed us to her home so that we could see where the kittens were born and raised.  It is a testimony to her transparency.
I cannot find enough superlatives for Janet and her discerning cattery.  I am so grateful that I found her and have the fortune to get one of her babies!  Thanks, Janet!! – Albert and Amy, New York, USA
